Happy Pride Month! Join the Alice Paul Institute for a program with Professor Wendy Rouse who's research explores the queer history of the suffrage movement.
Join us on Tuesday, June 22 at noon Eastern for a Senate update and town hall discussion, with funding from the Harnisch Foundation. We'll hear from our lead Senate sponsors on SJ Res 1 (recorded and live) and learn where we're going from here. Then we'll hear from some of our coalition partner organizations about how the work of the ERA intersects with their efforts, and what equality would look like to our communities.

Councilwoman Ryana Parks Shaw will speak on Pay Equity in Kansas City; Erica Benson (Project 28A) will speak on what is happening with the ERA in the Senate; and Gail James will speak about the elimination of discrimination in the municipalities. Join at 9:30am for social time. The meeting will begin at 10am.
Beginning August 15th, the Notorious RVG will head to Ohio, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and North Dakota to support Midwest equality warriors.
Like our last tour, this one includes virtual programming and physical stops in: retail areas with strong foot traffic, undergraduate campuses and law schools, community events (parades / fairs / etc.), and corporate HQs upon request.

Join the Feminist Majority, the ERA Coalition, the National Organization for Women (NOW), the National Congress of Black Women, Transformative Justice Coalition, Generation Ratify, ERA Minnesota, and other organizations at a rally on August 26, Thursday, at noon ET on the steps in front of the Supreme Court of the United States, across from the Senate.
