The Supreme Court overturning Roe V. Wade, ends the constitutional right to an abortion, sending the U.S. back many years into the past.
Not allowing women, and child-bearing people, to choose what they can do with their bodies won’t stop them from finding harmful alternatives. This ultimately leads to a rise in pregnancy related deaths and injuries.
This decision also greatly affects my life. Being a teenager with limited resources is difficult enough, but being a teenage girl makes life much harder. Having reduced access to health care makes the mental health of many teenagers worse. We would have to find alternative solutions that often require money and transportation, which not all of us have access to. There are many problems that will arise with the overturning, and my future will be heavily impacted.
