DESCRIPTION:Equal rights activists from all over WI are invited to come learn about the state Equal Rights Amendment and then go talk to our lawmakers about why the ERA  us important to us. The WI ERA is very broad\, affecting all of us:\n\n“Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by this state or by any political subdivision of the state on account of sex\, gender identity\, race\, color\, sexual orientation\, disability\, religion\, national origin\, marital status\, family status\, age\, ancestry\, or any other immutable characteristic.”

DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us for the annual meeting for updates on the status of the Equal Rights Amendment and Alliance activities in 2025\, and we’ll elect new members of our Board of Directors for 2026-2027.\n\nOur speaker this year is Jeri Burton. Jeri is a life-long progressive activist and Equal Rights Amendment advocate.   In 2022 she was one of the key activists to get the Nevada State Equal Rights Amendment passed and into the Nevada Constitution.
